> Detailed Description :
> Doing OB 637837 with good stars selected and good AO corrections the IQ script resolved grade C and D due to ellipticity. Concatenation aborted and repeated with no problems. at the beginning, but then again the problem appeared. Target changed.  Trying to acquire high air mass standard it was not posible to get adecuate corrections, coma was above 1500 and defocus near 800, so I decided to reset m2 values and do m2 init at about 04:25
> After reinitialization of m2 it performed fairly well concerning ellipticity and AO corrections.   Other feature is that stars are constnatly drifting to out of rtd window when corrections are applied
> Time lost 01:26

>      Here the log of the corrections measured and sent by OmegaCAM during the 'events'. The aquisitions converged slowly. Then, after the first Ob at 03:19:05 a last corrections is sent as measured during the science exposure. That one send a relatively large negative Coma, and leads then to a IQ degradation as is seen from the QC0 logs submitted by Nestor.
>
>      When Nestor enforces an additional IA in the aquisition at 03:29, due to the degradation he sees, the system indeed measures a large positive coma value of 1500nm.
>
>      The next correction in the aquisition at 03:42 again measures a huge defocus and coma, even though the science images between 03:30 and 03:42 were not affected by IQ degradation.
>
>      It converges well around 03:45, but then IQ degradation restart around 03:56

>      Looking at the donut ocmiaxx.fits images (e.g. ocmia52.fits at the aquisition), the impression is that the flux of the star is relatively low, and one also sees that the donut is passing the limit of the box. I noted that the box size for IA star was 64x64. This should be 128x128.

>      I include Ronald Holzloehner from TEC into CC. He is interested / working in the optical modelling of the VST/OCAM system. This particular case of defocus would be the typical use case of when during open loop a degradation happens, partially because of slow focus drift, and also possibly because of a slight inaccuracy in the original alignment.
