[Issues] Groningen GPFS file system issues

Hi everyone,

There are issues with the storage system in Groningen. Reading / writing
files larger than ~64MB seems to fail. Below is the message from the CIT
about this. So please stop processing in Groningen until this is fixed.

Hi all,

Yesterday we did some dryrun gpfs2 checks, and it turns out we have to
do some maintenance on the filesystem to hopefully get it fixed. It
looks like we have a mismatch in 2 metadata-servers.

so for this afternoon:

- unmount all gpfs2 storage on the application nodes
- stop all gpfs2 clients (app,storage,metadata)
- reboot metadata-servers
- start gpfs clients (storage gpfs2, metadata gpfs2)
- repeat fsck dryrun
- check/compare results
- do a 'real' fsck

Please stop your processing (if any) on gpfs2 to help us umount/stop the
gpfs-clients the normal way.
