Great we can have this remote support!
The FF gradients are slight shadows from the strips that cover the CCD
bond wires. Not a serious concern I think. Were they any smaller we
would get light reflecting off these shiny parts of the CCDs.

Speaking of reflections: take a look at
OMEGA.2011-03-28T06:12:56.124.fits	169.779167	13.31139 300.0000

(Leo galaxy triplet)
in which a V=7 star fell on he edge of the B and V filter cross
covering the edges of the segments. I am actually quite amazed in
general at the low level of ghosting we seem to be getting.

Took the first KiDS field tonight, at RA,dec=120000, 000000. ugri, 5pt
dithers each, nominal integration times. No guiding, but tracking is
not bad. exposures with ORIGFILE names OBS089_0028 to 0047.

Now back to collecting focusing runs etc to try to figure out how to
(further) improve telescope optical quality.
